Are you a published, aspiring or soon-to be-published crime fiction writer? An avid reader or mystery-lover? A librarian who loves to share your latest mystery discovery? A bookseller who loves recommending whodunits? A teacher instructing students on how to craft thrilling mysteries? A bookstagrammer sharing your love of crime fiction online?

Whoever you are, we’re excited for you to join Sisters in Crime Connecticut, where you’ll find a community of like-minded writers and readers, mystery and thriller writing resources, information on book promotion, and more. As a member you’ll have access to all of our exclusive author and subject matter expert events, seasonal parties, and more! We offer a combination of in-person and virtual events to accommodate members across Connecticut and beyond.

Steps to Join Sisters in Crime Connecticut

To join the SinC Connecticut chapter, you must become a member of Sisters in Crime National. Follow the steps below to join.

1. Read the Sisters in Crime Code of Conduct.

2. Go to the SinC National “Join Now” page. There you will do the following:

   • Choose the type of membership you want to sign up for.

   • Follow the prompts to create an account.

   • Select SinC-CT as your chapter when prompted.

   • If paying online, you can submit one combined payment for both the National and CT chapter.

   • If paying by check, you may send one check covering both memberships directly to SinC National. Full instructions are provided at checkout.

3. Important Step for Our Records: After you join, please send a quick email to membership.sincconnecticut@gmail.com (or complete the form below) to let us know so we can add your profile to the Members page on our SinC-CT website.
